The Ottawa Charge and Vancouver Goldeneyes completed a six-player trade on Sunday.
The Charge acquired forwards Michela Cava and Brooke McQuigge along with defender Emma Greco from the Goldeneyes in exchange for forwards Mannon McMahon, Anna Meixner and Anna Shokhina.
All three players acquired by Ottawa have championship experience.
Cava, 31, has 32 points (15 goals, 17 assists) in 67 career games and won back-to-back PWHL titles with the Minnesota Frost in 2023-24 and 2024-25.
“She will bring goal scoring ability to our organization,” said Charge General Manager Mike Hirshfeld. “We got to know her game extremely well from the PWHL Walter Cup Finals last season and we’re looking forward to adding her grit and compete to our group.”
McQuigge, 25, won the Walter Cup as a Frost rookie last season. She has 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 42 career games.
Greco, 30, has three assists in 63 career games. She won the Walter Cup with Minnesota in 2023-24 before playing for Boston in 2024-25.
Vancouver’s three new players entered the league as Ottawa draft picks.
McMahon, 24, was a fifth-round pick in 2024 and has 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 43 career games.
Meixner, 31, was a sixth-round selection in 2024 and has three goals and one assist in 41 career games.
Shokhina, 28, was a second-round pick in 2025 and has one goal and three assists through her first 12 games.
