Colts suspend CB Tony Brown, WR Isaiah McKenzie for 3 games

The Indianapolis Colts suspended cornerback Tony Brown and wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie on Tuesday for the final three games of the regular season for conduct detrimental to the team.

Both players were healthy scratches for the first time this season in Indianapolis’ 30-13 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday. The reason behind the healthy scratches and the suspensions is not immediately known.

Brown, 28, has 10 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble in 12 games (one start) this season. He has 75 tackles, three forced fumbles, one interception and one sack in 61 career games (five starts) with the Green Bay Packers (2018-19), Cincinnati Bengals (2020) and Colts (2022-23).

McKenzie, 28, has 11 catches for 82 yards in 13 games this season. He has 152 receptions for 1,427 yards and 11 touchdowns in 93 career games with the Denver Broncos (2017-18), Buffalo Bills (2018-22) and Colts.

Also on Tuesday, the Colts signed running back Tyler Goodson to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. In addition, Indianapolis signed defensive end Zach McCloud, wide receiver Jaydon Mickens and wide receiver Juwann Winfree to the practice squad and released guard Lewis Kidd from the practice squad.

Goodson, 23, has 11 carries for 69 yards and five catches for 19 yards while playing in the Colts’ last three games.
