The Washington Commanders listed starting left guard Brandon Coleman as inactive for Sunday’s game against the visiting Las Vegas Raiders.
Per ESPN, a team spokesperson said Coleman’s absence for the game was a coach’s decision and not related to his shoulder injury. He has played 92 percent of the team offensive snaps.
Coleman, 24, was selected by the Commanders in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Chris Paul will at left guard against the Raiders in place of Coleman, who started both of Washington’s games this season and 12 of the 16 games in which he played in 2024.
Paul, 26, has played 11 snaps on offense and seven on special teams this season. He was a seventh-round draft pick in 2022.
