America will celebrate its 250th birthday with a UFC fight card at the White House, Dana White confirmed Tuesday.
The UFC boss said he is meeting with President Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka, to discuss logistics later this month in Washington, D.C.
“It’s absolutely going to happen,” White told The Associated Press. “Think about that, the 250th birthday of the United States of America, the UFC will be on the White House south lawn live on CBS.”
The wheels started turning last month when Trump, a UFC enthusiast and friend of White’s, expressed an interest in bringing the Octagon and upwards of 20,000 spectators to Pennsylvania Avenue.
UFC owner TKO Group Holdings announced a seven-year, $7.7 billion media rights deal with Paramount, the parent company of CBS, on Monday. The deal begins in 2026.
White said it was too early to speculate on a main event for a White House fight card.
