Houston Dash forward Yazmeen Ryan agreed to a three-year contract extension that spans through the 2027 season, the team announced Friday.
Financial terms were not disclosed for Ryan, who was acquired by the team in a trade with NJ/NY Gotham FC on Dec. 27.
“Yazmeen is a stellar addition to our team and you see that in her interactions with our staff and her new teammates,” said Angela Hucles Mangano, Dash president of women’s soccer.
“On the field, she is a competitor that wants to raise the bar for the group and demands the best from herself at each training session. We are excited about what the team can accomplish this year and beyond with Yazmeen as a key contributor.”
Ryan, 25, is a two-time NWSL champion and was named to the 2024 NWSL Best XI Second Team after collecting five goals and six assists last season.
She has nine goals and 12 assists in 82 career matches in the regular season with the Portland Thorns (2021-22) and Gotham.
