The New Jersey Devils signed pending unrestricted free agent Kurtis MacDermid to a three-year contract worth $3.45 million on Friday.
The 30-year-old forward recorded two goals, an assist and 73 penalty minutes in 45 games this season split between the Colorado Avalanche and Devils.
He was acquired by New Jersey on March 1 in exchange for forward prospect Zakhar Bardakov and a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
MacDermid has 31 points (11 goals, 20 assists) and 368 penalty minutes in 265 career games with the Los Angeles Kings (2017-21), Avalanche (2021-24) and Devils.
