Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts left the game against the Washington Commanders in the first quarter and was being evaluated for a concussion.
Hurts was injured by a tackle from Washington’s Frankie Luvu and Bobby Wagner at the end of an 11-yard run to the Washington 21. He later briefly appeared about to return but is now in the locker room.
Back-up Kenny Pickett came on and completed the drive with a four-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Brown.
The Eagles, 12-2, are in pursuit of the top seed in the NFC, alongside the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, who are likewise 12-2.
