The Philadelphia Flyers scored three goals in 26 seconds — including two by Tyson Foerster — to highlight their 6-3 win over the visiting New Jersey Devils on Saturday.

Noah Cates chipped in with a goal and two assists for Philadelphia, while Dan Vladar made 32 saves. Matvei Michkov, Bobby Brink and Trevor Zegras also scored for the Flyers.

Nico Hischier registered two goals and an assist for New Jersey, which has lost three games in a row for the first time this season. Devils goaltender Jake Allen allowed six goals on 29 shots.

About 7 1/2 minutes into the game, New Jersey’s Timo Meier opened the scoring off a scramble in front of the net. However, Cates answered off a rebound less than 90 seconds later — and the Flyers were just getting started.

Philadelphia’s three-goal uprising began shortly thereafter with Michkov’s fifth of the season. Sean Couturier unleashed Michkov on a breakaway, and the second-year sniper beat Allen low to the stick side.

Right off the ensuing faceoff, Cates set a crossing pass to Foerster, whose one-timer got past Allen just nine seconds after Michkov’s goal.

Foerster wasn’t done yet, though, as he scored again 15 seconds later. The shot was a seemingly harmless attempt from the right circle that caromed off Allen’s stick and into the net, making it 4-1.

For the Flyers, their three goals in 26 seconds were the fastest trio of tallies in team history, and the fifth-fastest three-goal outburst by a single team. The Boston Bruins hold the record with three goals in 20 seconds in a 1971 game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Not to be lost in the shuffle was Brink’s toe-drag wrister that made it 5-1 midway through the second period.

Hischier added a nice goal of his own later in the second off a nifty feed from Luke Hughes.

In the third period, Hischier’s second goal of the night made things temporarily interesting before Zegras buried his seventh of the season on a breakaway less than two minutes later.
