Philadelphia Flyers goalie Carter Hart exited Wednesday night’s game against the host Buffalo Sabres in the first period due to an apparent lower-body injury.
Hart left after allowing Brandon Biro’s goal with 10 minutes remaining in the first. That marker gave Buffalo a 2-1 lead, with Hart making three saves before his departure.
Samuel Ersson took over for the injured Hart.
Hart, 25, entered Wednesday with a 4-3-0 record through seven games this season. He had a 2.30 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.
