Travis Konecny had one goal and two assists, Morgan Frost scored on a penalty shot and the host Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Arizona Coyotes 5-3 on Monday.

Jamie Drysdale, Scott Laughton and Owen Tippett each added one goal for the Flyers, who won their fourth in a row.

The Flyers won despite going 0-for-8 on the power play.

Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson made 20 saves.

Matt Dumba, Matias Maccelli and Alexander Kerfoot scored one goal each for the Coyotes.

J.J. Moser had two assists but Arizona lost its sixth straight.

Coyotes goaltender Karel Vejmelka stopped 29 shots.

Drysdale scored at 6:12 of the third period to tie the score at 3-all. The goal was reviewed since Tippett appeared to be checked into Vejmelka.

The Flyers then took a 4-3 lead at 10:21 on a wraparound goal by Laughton.

Ersson made a spectacular save against Jason Zucker on the backhand at 14:27.

Tippett sealed the victory at 18:39 with an empty-net goal from the blue line.

Cam Atkinson had a terrific scoring chance at 14:7 of the first period, but Vejmelka stuck his pad out and made the save.

The Coyotes responded by taking a 1-0 lead at 16:26 when Dumba fired a slap shot through traffic.

The Flyers nearly equalized at 1:57 of the second period when Joel Farabee corralled a puck off the boards, skated in all alone and had his shot denied by Vejmelka.

Philadelphia stayed aggressive and Travis Sanheim appeared to score at 2:16. But the play was reviewed and disallowed because of an offsides call.

The Flyers were awarded a penalty shot at 4:23 when Frost was taken down by Michael Kesselring. Frost skated in slowly and tied the score at 1.

Arizona went ahead 2-1 at 7:57 when Maccelli banked in the shot off Ersson from behind the net.

Konecny equalized at 9:55, his 25th of the season, as the teams were playing four-on-four.

The Coyotes regained a 3-2 advantage at 14:02 when Kerfoot received a crisp pass from Zucker and connected.
