Jim Furyk on Tuesday named his six captain’s picks for the U.S. team for the 2024 Presidents Cup.

Keegan Bradley, Sam Burns, Tony Finau, Brian Harman, Russell Henley and Max Homa were named to the 12-man team for the Sept. 24-29 competition at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada.

Harman and Henley are Presidents Cup first-timers, while Bradley returns to the squad for the first time since 2013. Burns and Homa made their debuts in 2022 and Finau is making his third straight appearance.

They will join the six automatic qualifiers who were previously announced: World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay and Sahith Theegala.

The U.S. won the most recent competition in 2022 at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, N.C., by a score of 17 1/2 to 12 1/2. The Americans have not lost to the International team since 1998.

Furyk said newcomers Harman, 37, and Henley, 35, both bring important elements to the competition.

“Throughout his career, Brian has been one of the fiercest match play competitors I’ve seen,” Furyk said. “His grit and tenacity were on full display winning the 2023 Open Championship, and I’m looking forward to having that mindset on our side at Royal Montreal.”

Harman posted three top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2024, including a T2 at The Players Championship.

Henley delivered six top-10 finishes, including a solo fifth at The Open Championship.

“Russell has been one of the most consistent players on the PGA Tour these last two years, and I can’t wait to have him in Montreal with the U.S. Team next month,” Furyk said. “He is unflappable under pressure and without doubt one of the best putters in our game, which is a fantastic combination for match play success.”

The current U.S. Ryder Cup captain, Bradley had previously been named as one of Furyk’s captain’s assistants. Bradley, 38, is coming off a win at the BMW Championship last month.

“When I named Keegan as a captain’s assistant for the Presidents Cup, I knew there was a chance he would play his way onto the U.S. Team, and I can say without a doubt he did just that,” Furyk said. “The grit he showed in the final round in Memphis followed by the win in Denver exemplified the competitive nature he has always played with, and I know he will bring that same fire to Royal Montreal in a few weeks.”
