The North Carolina Courage re-signed forward Tess Boade to a guaranteed two-year contract through the 2025 NWSL season.
“I am beyond excited to be signing for two more years with the Courage and to continue contributing to one of the best clubs in the world,” Boade, 24, said in a news release Monday. “The environment in North Carolina is challenging and competitive and I can’t wait to continue to be pushed every single day.”
The former Duke star tallied one goal and two assists in 12 matches (11 starts) during the 2023 regular season after missing the start of the season with a shoulder injury.
The Courage now have 24 players under contract for the 2024 season, including six forwards.
