Sofia Cantore and Leicy Santos scored in the second half as the Washington Spirit erased a two-goal deficit and earned a 2-2 draw with host Racing Louisville on Friday.

First-half goals from Kayla Fischer and Emma Sears put Louisville (0-1-1, 1 point) on top before Washington (0-1-1, 1 point) rallied.

Cantore belted a 30-yard right-footed strike into the right side of the net to halve the hosts’ lead in the 50th minute.

In the 74th minute, Rosemonde Kouassi rolled a cross into the middle of the 18-yard box. Santos ran onto the ball and powered it in off a short hop.

Fischer opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Her shot from just behind the top of the box bounced just in front of Spirit goalkeeper Sandy MacIver, who let it slip past her into the net.

Sears took the ball three-quarters of the length of the field to score Louisville’s second goal. Though she had a teammate attacking with her, Sears ran at two Washington defenders and eventually rolled a 10-yard shot from the right side into the far bottom corner of the net.

Summit 1, Pride 1

Barbra Banda scored on her 26th birthday as host Orlando earned a draw against expansion Denver, which earned its first point.

In the 61st minute, Banda headed in a cross from Jacqueline Ovalle as the Pride (0-1-1, 1 point) leveled the score at 1-1.

Denver’s Natasha Flint slipped in an entry pass to Melissa Kossler in the 24th minute. Kossler rolled the ball into the far corner of the goal in the 24th minute for the Summit (0-1-1, 1 point).
