Edmonton Oilers forward Warren Foegele will return to the lineup for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Florida Panthers on Saturday night in Sunrise, Fla.
Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch confirmed on Saturday morning that Foegele will return from a three-game absence for undisclosed reasons. He skated on a line with Ryan McLeod and Corey Perry in practice on Friday.
Foegele, 28, recorded career-high totals in goals (20), assists (21) and points (41) while playing in 82 games this season. He has one goal, two assists and a minus-8 rating in 15 playoff games.
Foegele has 163 points (80 goals, 83 assists) in 431 career games with the Carolina Hurricanes and Oilers. He was selected by the Hurricanes in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft.
