Oklahoma jumped six spots to No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 women’s basketball poll Monday following last week’s upset of South Carolina.

Fellow Southeastern Conference member Georgia (18-3) joined those two in the rankings this week at No. 23 to give the SEC a record 10 teams in the Top 25.

Defending national champ UConn (21-0) remains the consensus No. 1 team in the nation, receiving all 31 first-place votes. No. 2 UCLA (19-1) switched places with the No. 3 Gamecocks (20-2), while Texas (19-2) and Vanderbilt (20-1) held steady to round out the top five.

Oklahoma followed up its 94-82 overtime win on Thursday against South Carolina with a 72-65 victory at Auburn on Sunday. Aaliyah Chavez led the Sooners in scoring in both games, dropping 26 on the Gamecocks and 18 on the Tigers.

South Carolina bounced back with a 103-74 rout of previously unbeaten Vanderbilt on Sunday.

No. 6 LSU (18-2) maintained its spot, while No. 7 Louisville (19-3) moved up one, No. 8 Iowa (18-2) climbed two and No. 9 Michigan (17-3) fell two places.
