Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs left Sunday’s NFC wild-card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles after landing on the back of his head in the end zone in the third quarter.
Doubs stayed on the ground for several minutes before being helped to his feet. He walked slowly to the Packers’ locker room with both of his arms wrapped around the shoulders of team officials.
The injury took place as Doubs leaped to try to make a touchdown catch in between a pair of Eagles defenders. Doubs could not haul in the pass, and he landed hard with the back of his helmet hitting the turf.
Earlier this season, Doubs missed time because of a concussion. He had two catches for 13 yards against the Eagles before his injury.
