Forward Claire Dalton re-signed with PWHL Montreal on a one-year contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
Dalton, 24, posted nine points (five goals, four assists) in 20 games. The Toronto native, a 12th-round pick by Montreal in the 2023 PWHL Draft, also appeared in three playoff games in the league’s inaugural season.
Her biggest game came Feb. 24 against Ottawa, when she scored the second hat trick in team history.
As captain at Yale, she led the Bulldogs to their first Ivy League championship in 2023, scoring the game-tying goal and overtime winner in the final against Cornell.
Dalton totaled 133 points (44 goals, 89 assists) in 130 games at Yale from 2018-23. Her 89 assists are the most by a women’s player at the school.
