The Professional Women’s Hockey League released its schedule for the 2024-25 campaign on Tuesday, and each team is set to have six more games on its ledger compared to last season.
Six teams are in the PWHL, which celebrated its inaugural season in 2023-24. In Year 2, each team will play 30 games for a total of 90 across the league.
Every team will be in action when the season opens on Nov. 30.
“Our teams and players are so eager to bring their new identities to life, and the schedule announcement elevates that sense of anticipation,” PWHL senior vice president of hockey operations Jayna Hefford said in a statement. “We have more games, new uniforms, a talented rookie class and so much more for the PWHL community to look forward to. For our players and our fans, the season ahead will be intense, competitive and fun.”
The Minnesota Frost took home the title last season, beating the Boston Fleet 3-2 in a five-game series.
