Racing Louisville re-signed defender Arin Wright to a two-year contract on Friday.
Wright’s deal also includes a 2027 option that will automatically trigger upon reaching certain benchmarks.
The 31-year-old Kentucky native started 21 of her 22 matches in her first season with Racing in 2024.
“One year simply wasn’t enough,” Wright said. “I’m beyond thrilled to re-sign with Racing Louisville FC. The bonds I’ve forged with my teammates and staff in this past year are truly special, and I can’t wait to deepen those connections on and off the field.”
Wright started her career with the Chicago Red Stars, tallying three goals and 13 assists in 164 matches (143 starts) from 2015-23.
“We are glad to have Arin back with us,” said Racing coach Bev Yanez. “She has been a steady defender for us and brings so much experience to our group. And, of course, she has the wonderful local connection to our club, city and state.”
