The Los Angeles Chargers are bringing back edge rusher Khalil Mack with a one-year deal for a fully guaranteed $18 million, NFL Network reported Monday.
Mack, who turned 34 last month, made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons with the Chargers. He’s missed only one game in that span (2022-24) while recording 31 sacks and 49 quarterback hits in 50 starts.
A nine-time Pro Bowl selection, three-time first-team All-Pro and the 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Mack finished the 2024 campaign ranked seventh among active NFL players with 107.5 career sacks.
He has registered 185 QB hits, 630 tackles, 32 forced fumbles, 13 fumble recoveries and three interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) in 167 games (166 starts) with the then-Oakland Raiders (2014-17), Chicago Bears (2018-21) and Chargers.
The Raiders drafted Mack with the No. 5 overall pick in 2014.
