Report: Eagles allow LB Haason Reddick to seek trade

Haason Reddick

The Philadelphia Eagles have granted linebacker Haason Reddick permission to seek a trade, NFL Network reported Sunday.

Reddick, 29, recorded a career-high 16 sacks to go along with an NFL-best five forced fumbles in 17 starts during his first season with the Eagles in 2022. He followed that up with 11 sacks in 17 starts in 2023 en route to being named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl.

Reddick received $1.035 million as a base salary in 2022 and $1.08 million in 2023. He will earn $14.25 million in base salary in 2024, however. He signed a three-year, $45 million contract with $30 million of it guaranteed in March 2022.

Reddick has registered 410 tackles, 58 sacks and 16 forced fumbles in 114 games (81 starts) with the Arizona Cardinals (2017-20), Carolina Panthers (2021) and Eagles. The Cardinals selected him with the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
