Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown is preparing to miss “a couple of weeks” due to his hamstring injury, ESPN reported Monday night.
Brown was injured during practice on Friday, experiencing hamstring tightness that ended up keeping him out of Monday night’s game against the visiting Atlanta Falcons. He still doesn’t believe the issue is serious, but he expects to miss Sunday’s meeting with the New Orleans Saints at the very least.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts targeted Brown a team-high 10 times during a 34-29 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1. Brown hauled in five catches for 119 yards and a touchdown.
Brown, 27, is in his third season with Philadelphia after three with the Tennessee Titans (2019-21). He has 384 receptions for 6,066 yards and 44 TDs in 78 career games (70 starts).
