New York Jets tight end Jeremy Ruckert agreed to a two-year, $10 million extension, ESPN reported Wednesday.
The deal can be worth a maximum of $5.5 million per year with incentives, per the report.
Ruckert, a third-round draft pick in 2022, is currently playing in the final season of his rookie contract.
Ruckert, 25, has recorded 20 catches for 163 yards and one touchdown this season, all career highs.
A reliable blocker and contributor on special teams, he has 55 career receptions for 427 yards and one TD in 55 games (27 starts).
The Jets (3-11) signed starting center Josh Myers to a two-year, $11 million extension earlier this month.
