San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams is expected to play in Sunday’s NFC wild-card game against the host Philadelphia Eagles, multiple media outlets reported.
Williams, 37, was listed as questionable to play for the 49ers (12-5) due to a hamstring injury. He was limited in practice on both Thursday and Friday after sitting out San Francisco’s regular-season finale.
A 12-time Pro Bowl selection, Williams has started all 16 games in which he has played this season and 203 of the 204 games in which he has competed in his NFL career. He was selected by the Washington franchise with the fourth overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.
