New York Giants offensive tackle Andrew Thomas has a serious foot injury that could require season-ending surgery, multiple media outlets reported Tuesday night.
NFL Network reported that Thomas went to Charlotte, N.C., to meet with a foot expert as he determines how to best treat the injury.
Thomas, 25, has started all six of the Giants’ games this season. He was injured during the 17-7 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
In five NFL seasons, all with New York, Thomas has appeared in 61 games (60 starts). He earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2022.
The Giants selected Thomas with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 draft out of Georgia.
