The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to sign former Jacksonville Jaguars outside linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson, per multiple reports Tuesday.
Chaisson, 25, was a first-round pick (20th overall) by the Jaguars in the 2020 NFL Draft. He recorded five sacks and 73 tackles in 57 games (11 starts) with the team from 2020-23.
Chaisson signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers during the offseason but was released on Sept. 3.
The Raiders are dealing with knee injuries to edge rushers Tyree Wilson and Malcolm Koonce. Koonce was placed on injured reserve prior to the season opener, while Wilson was hurt during Sunday’s season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
