Rose Namajunas defeated Tracy Cortez by unanimous decision on Saturday night in their main event women’s flyweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Denver.
The cards read 49-46, 49-46, 48-47 in favor of Namajunas (14-6-0), who has won back-to-back UFC fights following a two-fight skid. Cortez (11-2-0) saw an 11-fight winning streak come to an end, with five of those victories coming in UFC action.
Namajunas landed a total of 119 strikes to Cortez’s 85.
Gabriel Bonfim (16-1-0) also won by unanimous decision, downing Ange Loosa in a welterweight bout. In another welterweight fight, Muslim Salikhov (20-5-0) beat Santiago Ponzinibbio by split decision, taking the cards 29-28, 28-29, 29-28.
Lightweight Jean Silva (14-2-0) and featherweight Julian Erosa (30-12-0) were also winners on Saturday.
