The Pittsburgh Steelers downgraded defensive tackle Isaiahh Loudermilk to out for Monday’s AFC wild-card game against the visiting Houston Texans.
Loudermilk, who initially was listed as questionable for the game, has been sidelined by an ankle injury since Week 2. He logged limited practice sessions on both Friday and Saturday.
He would have needed to be activated from injured reserve to play for the Steelers (10-7) in the game against the Texans (12-5).
Loudermilk, 28, has recorded 63 tackles and one sack in 60 career games (seven starts) since being selected by the Steelers in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin.
