Connecticut Sun guard Bria Hartley will miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a meniscus tear in her right knee during a recent practice, the team announced Sunday.
Hartley is expected to make a full recovery for the Sun (10-29), who are eliminated from postseason contention with five games remaining on their schedule.
The UConn product returned to the WNBA this season after a nearly three-year absence. She recovered from an ACL tear and played in Spain before joining Galatasaray in the Turkish Super League in 2023-24 and also spent time competing in Athletes Unlimited before suiting up for the Sun in 2025.
Hartley, 32, averaged 8.9 points and 3.1 assists while playing in 38 games (32 starts) this season for Connecticut.
She has averaged 8.0 points and 2.7 assists in 245 career games (131 starts) with the Washington Mystics, New York Liberty, Phoenix Mercury, Indiana Fever and Sun. Hartley was the seventh overall pick of the 2014 WNBA Draft.
