Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis will return from a three-game absence to start Sunday’s game against the host Los Angeles Chargers, head coach Brian Callahan said Friday.
Levis initially sustained a right (throwing) shoulder injury in the Titans’ 31-12 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 30. He returned to action on Oct. 13, after a Tennessee bye, and threw for just 95 yards in Tennessee’s 20-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph has started the past three games for the Titans (2-6).
“Will had a really good week of practice,” Callahan said Friday. “He felt really good. It’s the best he’s looked in a couple of weeks, So we’re excited to see him go forward.”
Levis, 25, has thrown for 699 yards with five touchdowns and seven interceptions in five games this season for the Titans.
He has passed for 2,507 yards with 13 touchdowns and 11 picks in 14 career games (all starts) since being selected by Tennessee in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He has a 4-10 record as a starter.
