Florida State junior guard Ta’Niya Latson, the leading scorer in Division I this season, is entering the transfer portal.
Latson averaged 25.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 29 games and was a second-team All-American.
She is entering the portal but keeping her options open, her agents at Klutch Sports Group told ESPN on Thursday.
If Latson returns to the Seminoles, she could be in for a rebuilding year with the departures of senior stars Makayla Timpson and O’Mariah Gordon.
Latson could also be in line for potentially lucrative NIL deal elsewhere, ESPN reported.
The 2022-23 Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year and a three-time All-ACC selection, Latson boasts career averages of 22.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.8 steals in 93 games (all starts) at Florida State.
