The Dallas Wings signed center Kalani Brown for the remainder of the season on Thursday.
The contract falls under the league’s emergency salary cap hardship provision.
Dallas had only nine available players following injuries to Diamond DeShields and Lou Lopez Senechal.
Brown, 26, has averaged 7.9 points and 7.2 rebounds in 12 games (five starts) for the Wings this season.
She posted career highs of 21 points against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 14 and 15 rebounds against the Phoenix Mercury on June 7.
