Super Bowl odds: Rams closing on Bucs, Chiefs

Matthew Stafford

The Los Angeles Rams continue to close the gap on the Super Bowl favorites with their 3-0 start to the regular season.

The Rams opened at +2000 at BetMGM but are now being offered at +850 after handing defending champion Tampa Bay its first loss of the season in Week 3. The Bucs are co-favorites at +600 along with Kansas City.

Despite their 1-2 start, the Chiefs remain the second most heavily-backed team at BetMGM, with 9.0 percent of the total bets and 10.0 percent of the handle since the Super Bowl market opened. The Bucs lead with 12.3 and 16.8 percent, respectively.

The Rams also have the third-shortest title odds at PointsBet at +800, behind the Chiefs (+600) and Bucs (+650). Los Angeles moved from +1100 on Sunday before knocking Tampa Bay from the ranks of the unbeaten.

The Buffalo Bills are next at +900 at both sportsbooks, with their odds shortening from +100 at PointsBet before their Week 3 game.

The Rams have now been backed by 8.0 percent of the bets and 8.2 percent of the handle at BetMGM, while the Bills have been supported by 7.9 and 6.8 percent.
