TNC Predator avenged an earlier loss to Vici Gaming to win the Grand Final of the $1 million Chengdu Major at the New International Convention & Exhibition Center on Sunday.
Vici swept TNC Predator in the Upper Bracket final just a day earlier, but quickly fell behind 2-0 in Sunday’s rematch.
The Chinese team did give the home crowd some hope by winning the third game, but TNC Predator sealed it in a fourth game that lasted just over an hour.
To reach the Grand Final, TNC Predator beat another Chinese team, Invictus Gaming, 2-0 in the Lower Bracket Final.
In addition to the $300,000 top prize, TNC Predator earns 4,850 DPC points toward qualification for The International 2020.
