Turner Sports announces deals with DraftKings, FanDuel

DraftKings, Turner Sports

Turner Sports announced multi-year agreements with both FanDuel and DraftKings on Thursday, making each company the exclusive sportsbook and fantasy sports provider to different segments of Turner properties.

FanDuelFanDuel will have exclusive rights to NBA programming on Turner Sports, including content integrations across Bleacher Report, the B/R app and live TNT telecasts of games.

The partnership began during the 2020 NBA Playoffs as FanDuel Sportsbook odds were used during TNT’s Inside The NBA studio show in addition to promotional integrations during live NBA games.

“Turner Sports is a leader in the media industry and, together, we’re bringing viewership to the next level by offering exclusive sports betting content that’s directly integrated into their NBA programming,” Mike Raffensperger, CMO of the FanDuel Group, said in a statement.

DraftKings esclusive for all but NBA

For programing outside of NBA content, DraftKings will be the exclusive partner for Turner Sports. DraftKings will provide sports betting information and daily fantasy contest for Turner Sports non-NBA telecasts and Bleacher Report digital channels, including the B/R app. DraftKings will provide custom content segments, betting odds and fantasy statistics, editorial content and personalized automated alerts.

DraftKings will also be featured on the B/R Betting vertical, which launched in 2019 and focuses on content centered on sports betting.
