The Philadelphia Union announced a new contract Tuesday for homegrown player Jack McGlynn.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder is signed through 2025 with options for 2026 and 2027.
“He can do special things on the ball, and we believe he is still far from his peak as a player,” Union sporting director Ernst Tanner said. “We are happy to have reached an agreement to keep him with the Union for the next few years and continue his development.”
McGlynn has contributed one goal and four assists in 42 games (16 starts) since making his MLS debut in 2021.
