Cloud9 added to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team on Friday by signing former Natus Vincere stars Denis “electroNic” Sharipov and Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy.
The newcomers replace in-game leader Vladislav “nafany” Gorshkov and rifler Timur “buster” Tulepov. nafany had been with the club since 2019 — when it was known as Gambit Youngsters — while buster joined Cloud9 in January.
electroNic, a 24-year-old Russian, has competed with NAVI since November 2017. Countryman Perfecto, 23, had been with the team since January 2020.
Cloud9’s roster consists of electroNic and Perfecto, fellow Russians Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov and Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov and Kazakhstan’s Abay “HObbit” Khassenov. Russian Konstantin “groove” Pikiner serves as the coach.
