The Minnesota Twins reinstated shortstop Carlos Correa from the seven-day concussion injured list on Friday.
Correa’s injury occurred when he collided with outfielder Byron Buxton as they chased Cedric Mullins’ pop-up into shallow center field during the Twins’ game against the Baltimore Orioles on May 15.
Correa, 30, batted .236 with two homers, 13 RBIs and 14 runs in 41 games with Minnesota this season.
The three-time All-Star will take the roster spot of infielder Ryan Fitzgerald, who was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday.
