Mikael Granlund scored with 58 seconds remaining in overtime and the Anaheim Ducks extended their winning streak to three games with a 2-1 overtime victory at home over the rival Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

Granlund scored on a breakaway after rookie Beckett Sennecke forced a turnover as the Ducks earned their second victory over the Kings in as many days after winning 3-2 in a shootout at Los Angeles on Friday.

Anaheim won the season series 3-1-0, with all three wins coming in extra time.

Mason McTavish added a goal for the Ducks, and Ville Husso made 17 saves in his second start this month while earning a win for the first time since Dec. 9.

Adrian Kempe scored a goal for the Kings and Anton Forsberg made 31 saves, as Los Angeles saw its losing streak extend to four games (0-1-3) to match its longest this season.

The Kings lost for the sixth time in their past seven games (1-2-4).

The Ducks opened the scoring at 6:11 of the opening period when McTavish ripped a shot past Forsberg off a pass from Olen Zellweger. McTavish won Friday’s game between the teams on a decisive score in the shootout.

The Kings used a two-man advantage to tie the score 1-1 when Kempe found the back of the net at 5:39 of the second period off a pass from Kevin Fiala. Los Angeles had a five-on-three for 1:54 and scored 49 seconds into the two-man advantage. Kempe, the Los Angeles points leader, scored his 16th of the season.

The Ducks were whistled for five penalties in the second period alone and six in the game. Anaheim did not go on its first power play until 1:58 remained in the middle period.

Anaheim took 13 shots while Los Angeles had seven in a scoreless third period. The Ducks had a 33-18 advantage on shots in the game.

While the Ducks were without points leader Leo Carlsson because of a skin lesion in his left leg, the Kings were without a pair of productive veteran forwards in Corey Perry (personal) and Anze Kopitar (lower body).
