The regular season kicks off on Tuesday in the new Madden Championship Series Pro League.
Eight players will compete in a single round-robin regular season in MCS 27.
Four were invited based on their performance in 2026: the top two finishers from the MCS 26 Madden Bowl and the top two remaining players from the final MCS 26 points leaderboard. Four others earned their spots through an open qualifier that ran from Aug. 22-Sept. 7.
The winner of every Pro League regular-season match also earns a $1,000 prize. These 28 match-win prizes are part of the total $200,000 prize pool.
At the end of the regular season, the top four players in the standings advance to the Pro League playoffs and qualify directly for the Feb. 9-11 Madden Bowl in Orlando, Fla.

Running alongside the Pro League are three open-registration competitions that offer players another path to the Madden Bowl. These MCS Open Qualifier finals will be on Oct. 6, Nov. 11 and Dec. 15.

The final 14-player field for the Madden Bowl includes the four Pro League playoff contenders; the three Open Qualifier winners; the six highest-ranked non-qualified players after the final Open Qualifier; and the Last Chance Qualifier winner.
