Darius Garland scored 22 points and Donovan Mitchell added 21 as the Cleveland Cavaliers snapped a season-worst three-game losing streak with a 110-91 win over the visiting Detroit Pistons on Monday.

Jarrett Allen recorded his 25th double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Eastern Conference-leading Cavaliers, who never trailed and improved to 22-3 at home.

Ty Jerome scored 15 points off the bench, Evan Mobley had 11 points and 14 boards and Max Strus finished with 10 points. Cleveland led by as many as 22 in the fourth quarter.

After allowing an average of 125.3 points per game during their skid, the Cavaliers held the Pistons to a season-low point total. Detroit shot 38.5 percent from the field and 27.8 percent (10 of 36) from 3-point range on Monday.

Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 22 points on 9-of-26 shooting. Malik Beasley scored 19 points off the bench, Jalen Duren had 12 points and 16 rebounds and Marcus Sasser chipped in 11 points.

The Cavaliers won their 11th straight meeting with Detroit, with two of those wins coming this season.

Both teams struggled on the offensive end in the first quarter, which ended with Cleveland leading 26-23.

The Cavaliers used a 13-4 run to extend their lead to 41-32 with 4:48 left in the second quarter and held a 55-45 advantage at the half.

Detroit shot just 36.7 percent from the field in the first half and was outscored 28-18 in the paint.

The Pistons’ shooting woes continued in the third quarter. Georges Niang hit a 3-pointer to give the Cavaliers a 74-56 lead with 3:09 left in the period.

Jerome closed the third quarter with a 3-pointer to push Cleveland’s lead to 82-67. The Cavaliers maintained control throughout the fourth quarter and emptied their bench with a 105-86 lead and 3:22 remaining.
