The Atlanta Hawks and forward/center Onyeka Okongwu agreed to a contract extension on Monday.
The Hawks did not disclose terms of the deal, but ESPN reported it was a four-year extension worth $62 million.
Monday was the deadline for rookie contract extensions for the draft class of 2020.
Okongwu, just 22, averaged career bests of 9.9 points and 7.2 rebounds in 80 games (18 starts) last season, his third with the Hawks.
Okongwu has averaged 7.9 points and 5.7 boards per game over 178 games (28 starts) since the Hawks selected him sixth overall in the 2020 NBA Draft.
